We have been bringing our pets to VRCCE for the past five or six years. Dr. Johnson, Dr. Morris, Robin and the rest of the team have been wonderful. Before coming here, we tried a couple of other veterinary practices in the Greater Portland area: one was hectic and impersonal; the other made repeated mistakes that almost cost our cat his life. At VRCCE they strike the perfect balance between being small and attentive, and having the latest technology and services, all while being the most compassionate veterinary providers we've ever been to.

I can't begin to describe my gratitude for these dedicated, wonderful ladies who cared for our precious family member today as if he were their own. They performed his dental procedure, exam, vaccines, placed a microchip, blood work, and all completed with nothing but love, care and concern. Boo is well taken care of a the VRCCE. Dr. Johnson & Dr. Morris are so good with the animals and easy to work with. The Vet Tech's Greg and Pamela & Vet Assistants Molly & Kelly and the office personnel Randi, Emily, and Cassie always make you feel welcome. Boo likes everyone at the VRCCE.... And that's saying something!

We could not be happier with the care our dogs receive at VRCCE. We have a senior and a puppy and both are treated with great gentleness, care, and a high level of clinical competence. Perhaps almost more importantly, the staff at VRCCE are excellent in working with owners. They take the time to explain, offer options, and make sure we are all on the same page. I often comment that I wish I could find medical care for humans like the care our dogs receive at VRCCE!

Lucy, MissyGirl and I had a very nice visit. EVERYONE is tremendously helpful and friendly. Dr. Johnson always takes her time to explain her findings and to discuss any issues thoroughly and completely. I appreciate not feeling rushed. Lucy is a very shy dog and by the end of the appointment us "eating out of the Vet's hand"! The Vet Techs and assistants are all super. I enjoy seeing them on every visit even if Lucy is a bit skeptical!! I highly recommend VRCCE! Janis Childs

I stopped into the office just to pick up some Frontline and Heartguard for my dog. Dr. Morris happened to pass by and stopped to talk with me. Because our dogs are the same age and have the same name, it is interesting to compare, so we discussed them. She then asked me about my family, and gave me a warm hug. (How great is that?) She also took the time to answer some questions about two cats that I had just adopted . Very generous with her time! Very pleasant experience.

I really appreciated being able to exchange Frontline for NexGard, my dog is too active and trying to find a "good time" to Frontline her just became almost impossible, so am going to try the pills. I wouldn't have wasted the Frontline, too expensive, so if I wasn't able to exchange it, it would've been another frustrating season trying to keep her dry after applying!
